Just wanted to share with you the state-of-the-art equipment that was exhibited at the NPE 2018 last week in Orlando, FL at Lung Meng Machinery (Taiwan) booth # S35013 in the South Hall.

The line consists of several independent modules that can be enabled or disabled depending on the types of bags on roll to make. They are:
- Heavy-Duty Unwinder
- Drawtape Insertion Unit
- Shuttle Machine with Double Sealing & Perforating Bars
- Triangle Folder
- Interleaved Winder
- Optional Paper Labeling Machine can be attached to the Winder
The line was running at 160MPM (525FPM or 320PPM) making HDPE Interleaved Drawtape Garbage Bags on Roll. Bag size was W400mm x L450mm @ 12 microns.
It can run HDPE, LDPE and 100% recycled materials. It is so versatile that you can make side seal bags and bottom seal bags just by changing the knives.
In addition to interleaved drawtape garbage bags on roll, this line is also able to make regular garbage bags on rolls. Below are the bag specs for both types of bags:
- Regular Garbage Bags on Roll: W100mm x L140mm (W4” x L5.52”) to W900mm x L2000mm (W35.43” x L78.74”)
- Drawtape Garbage Bags on Roll: W400mm x L450mm (W15.75” x L17.72”) to W1000mm x L900mm (W39.37” x L35.43”)
